Organic Apple Cider Vinegar which is raw and not processed is beneficial for body, skin and hair. The pure unprocessed ACV is a great source of potassium, minerals, vitamins and enzymes. It maintains body’s pH level as it increases the alkaline state. It is beneficial for curing brittle teeth, hair loss, acne, skin condition, blemishes, irregular bowel movement, and runny noses. It is a great way to detoxify and it works against viral, bacterial, and fungal infections. Researchers believe regular intake of ACV can slow down the aging process.

• Makes the skin clear and glowing as it reduces skin discoloration, acne or age spots, wrinkles, black or white heads and even sun tan.
• You can add 2 tsp of ACV to your bath for an overall cleanse, it is also effective to eliminate body odor or any other skin conditions
• It is a great remedy to remove warts. Soak a small cotton ball in ACV, place it on a wart, hold it down with help of a Band-Aid, leave overnight, repeat till the wart is gone.

4. For Hair:
• Apple Cider Vinegar can be used as a natural conditioner to make hair soft and shiny.
• Mix 1 part ACV with 10 Parts water and pour all over hair after you shampoo your hair.
• Leave it for half a minute and rinse off with cold or slightly warm water. Use it once a week. Avoid using daily or every time you wash your hair.

• It is highly advisable to consult with your doctor before taking ACV on a regular basis

When –
Drink it first thing in the morning or before every meal or sip it slowly throughout the day.

How I use it –
I add 2 tsp of ACV in 1 liter (34 ounces) of water and drink it first thing in the morning. If you cannot have it all in one go try to drink it in the first hour of the morning.
It works great to flush out all the toxins and makes you feel lighter the whole day.
Some do recommend 1 tsp in 1 glass half an hour before every meal but I would advice to start it slowly and if you like the results you can always increase it gradually.
I highly recommend taking ACV only in the morning.

Amla the richest natural source of vitamin C (463 mg./100gms), one fresh amla contains about than 80% water, protein (0.9%), fiber (3.4%), carbohydrates (6.9%), minerals (0.7%), fat (0.1%), vitamins like Calcium (34mg./100gms), Phosphorus, Iron (1.2%), Carotene and Vitamin B Complex (1%). It also is considered a powerful antioxidant fruit.
Amla juice contains nearly twenty times as much vitamin C as orange juice. There is a saying in Ayurved that regular use of Amla (2 to 3 a day) can a help live a long healthy life and hence is used as a main ingredient in Chyawanprash. It is also preserved in sugar syrup as Amla Candy.

Amla is beneficial for treating:

a) Skin Disorder: due to its cooling effect (sheet virya) it reduces pitta and thus helps in getting relief from all the skin disorders. Amla juice or powder with honey purifies blood.
Amla powder applied externally can help get rid on acne and pimples. It has anti ageing qualities and slows aging of the skin.

b) Hair Disorder: Amla strengthens roots of hair preventing hair fall and encouraging growth. It maintains the color delaying graying of the hair. Amla powder can help prevent dandruff if applied to scalp mixed with lemon juice.

c) Lower Immunity: Amla is rich in antibacterial qualities; it helps the body fight better against infection and also builds up your immunity, which makes you more resistant to diseases like chronic cough, cold, fever, tuberculosis and also asthma. It improves body resistance. Due to its strong, cooling and laxative properties Amla is useful for remedies for diarrhea and dysentery. The dried Amla fruit is astringent and useful in cases of diarrhea and dysentery.
Amla helps to get relief for gastric syndrome. It can also cure piles. Dried Amla is an excellent digestive, which can be consumed after meals.

e) Heart Disorder: Amla strengthens heart muscles. It lowers cholesterol level, purifies blood and increases Hemoglobin by increasing red blood cell production.

Find the fountain of youth in the nearest store if not in your kitchen. No I have not lost my mind. Fountain of youth is very much real and easily available and in many forms. The only condition for this fountain to work is it needs to be visited daily. Ok enough of sounding all mysterious, I am taking about the amazing natural resources that are easily available but do not get as much attention as they deserve.

I have researched 3 all natural resources that can turn your body age clock backwards and keep you young, fit, active, and beautiful. I will elaborate on only the first natural resource as I want to discuss this in detail. The rest two I’ll discuss in the following posts.

Adding green tea at least 3 to 4 cups alone itself can be the best change you can do to build the fountain of youth inside your body. It is loaded with Antioxidants, Polyphenols, Flavonoids and Vitamin C that boost the immune system to make the human body stronger in fighting various infections, it prevents inflammation of teeth and gums. It keeps cold and flu away as it also;

Fights Obesity:
Powerful antioxidants in green tea fights obesity by increasing the body’s ability to burn fat, improve muscle endurance, enhance energy level, and boost metabolism. It aids digestion, detoxifies the body and reduces cholesterol. Its diuretic property eliminates excess water which reduces excess weight due to water retention.

Green tea’s antioxidants (catechins) hunt for free radicals that can damage DNA and contribute to cancer, blood clots, and atherosclerosis. So there is no reason that one should delay the habit of drinking green tea.
Please remember to keep your green tea bag or leaves for at least 2 to 3 minutes in hot water before drinking.
Never add milk, cream, sugar or any sugar substitute in your green tea.
You can add some natural honey to make it sweet.
