When I felt hopeless and lost, I surrendered to spirituality and it helped me more than I could have imagined. It is filled with Buddhist wisdom and tales from the days of Buddha that can guide us during our days of struggles. When the author felt hopeless after a devastating heartbreak she found refuge in the calm and peaceful environment of the silent meditation retreat. The ancient meditation technique and the experience of living like a monk helped her connect with her inner self. By going inwards she found her true self, she found serenity.
